Internationally recognized and an undeniably great idea, Friendship day is a day to celebrate those people in our lives who are forgiving enough to allow us to hang out with them. So here's the deal. Take a moment. Think of some guy or gal that you haven't talked to in ages, somebody that you keep saying "Oh man. I haven't talked to Bert (or Leroy or Betty Lou) in ages. What the heck do you think happened to him after that divorce and suicide attempt" or you know whatever the deal is. Then spend about 5 mintues trying to find his email, and then email somebody with the exact same name in Upper Volta or something. You won't have accomplished an damn thing, but you'll feel better about yourself. And really after all isn't that what friendship is all about?
